Porsche 911 is an automotive icon, a world-class standard in sports cars. Many of us grew up wanting one. Today's Porsche 911 offers the latest in engine and chassis technology and more performance than all but a few exotic cars sold in America. What's really impressive, though, is how easy it is to drive a 911. It's easier to drive quickly than the Italian exotics or, for that matter, the Dodge Viper, and it's easier to live with on a daily basis.

Turbo ($116,200) gets Porsche's race-derived 415-hp twin-turbocharged engine and all-wheel drive. It develops an awesome 415 lb.-ft. of torque at 2700-4600 rpm. If that isn't enough, an optional engine performance package increases the twin turbo's output to 444 hp and 457 lbs.-ft. of torque. 911 models come well equipped with the new digital radio and in-dash CD player, automatic climate control, heated power mirrors, partial leather seats with power recliners, power windows with one-touch auto up/down, telescoping steering wheel, anti-theft system, trip computer. The H2 was the second SUV offered by HUMMER drawing on the H1 that was originally designed for military use. The H2 was the first new vehicle under the HUMMER brand since GM acquired exclusive ownership of the HUMMER brand. The H2 may be scaled down, but it offers all the capability expected from HUMMER. Our all-new Dodge Viper SRT10 Coupe is designed to thrill. The Viper SRT10 Coupe is available in Viper Blue with Stone White Stripes. The “Double Bubble” roof and bold rear styling with wraparound taillights are also reminiscent of the Viper GTS Coupe. The Viper SRT10 Convertible is available in Viper Red and Viper Black, and later in the year, a “Blue Mamba” edition will be offered with a special interior package that includes black leather upholstery with contrasting stitching and shift knob accents.

The Corvette is Chevrolet’s world-class, high-performance sports car. A true American icon, the Corvette was introduced in January 1953.The first 300 cars were produced by hand and powered by 235-cubic-inch 6-cylinder engines. In 1955 a V8 was first offered and in 1965 a big-block V8 was optional and 4-wheel disc brakes became standard. The fifth-generation C5 Corvette was introduced in 1997, with the Z06 added in 2001 along with additional performance equipment. The 2005 C6 was the first Corvette in more than 40 years without retractable headlights and the Z06 returns again for 2006.

The sixth-generation Corvette debuts for 2005 with a new design that is immediately recognizable as a Corvette, but more taut and aggressive in both coupe and convertible body styles. A new LS2 6.0-liter small-block V8 that produces 400 horsepower and 400 lb-ft of torque is the standard engine with either a 6-speed manual or a 5-speed automatic transmission. Three suspension systems are offered, including F55 Magnetic Selective Ride Control and Z51 Performance Package. In terms of overall dimensions, the C6 is more compact, measuring 5 inches shorter and about 1 inch narrower than the current Corvette. The wheels increase to 18 inches in diameter at the front and 19 inches at the rear. The interior is all new, but still retains the dual cockpit design. New materials offer a softer, more luxurious feel to the instrument panel and door trim. The convertible offers an optional power-operated soft-top.

The Gallardo is Lamborghini’s two-seat mid-engine V10-powered sports car that joined the Lamborghini line as a 2004 model and in just two years became the top-selling Lamborghini model of all time. Gallardo production topped the 3000 mark in November 2005, surpassing the Lamborghini Diablo as the most produced Lamborghini model of which a total of 2903 were produced over a ten year period.
